Who is better Dc or Marvel?

DC originally created the characters and their background stories and so the characters were rough and non-friendly yet legendary enough to still be in existence till date. Marvel on the other hand ripped those characters off DC’s pages (not all) and made them reader friendly, introduced the concept of “Human flaws” which connected them to the readers as understandable characters.

For example, did anyone hear about “Plastic Man”, yes the Mr. Fantastic version of DC. No, Mr.Fantastic is the Marvel version of Plastic Man. We all know Mr. Fantastic from The Fantastic Four, but very few people know Plastic Man.

Both are good companies, but, see this :-

Most of Marvel character’s powers come from the two main things “Scientific Experiments or Radiation”

Take the avengers, Cap and the Hulk - scientific experiment come radiation exposure, and the X-Men, Oh! humans of the Atomic Age, so radiation, I think Stan Lee was unfamiliar with the concept of cancer!

On the other hand, DC has unique origin stories. Very few characters have radiation giving them superpowers. In the Justice League itself, no character among the founding members got their powers from radiation exposure or scientific experiments.

Now what I find disturbing about DC? It’s name itself, DC? I first though it was an acronym for Direct Current. Being such a big franchise, it should have a name like Deep Drive or something. DC itself stands for Detective Comics, then why call it DC comics? Change your name DC.
